Competition of ideas for a green roof at MSF headquarters

It was September 2017 when the designers of the Areazero2.0 studio invited us to present a conceptual design with them for the green roof and green spaces of the new Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF) headquarters in Poble Nou. The green roof also included a solar pergola for self-sufficiency. The areas to naturalize were:

  • An interior patio of 160m2
  • A accessible terrace with 1000m2 of green roof and 50m2 of a green wall
  • A 900m2 green and solar non-accessible terrace

The Areazero2.0 proposal along with our proposal came in second place behind Batlle and Roig.
