Green Roof at Pere Calafell Municipal Preschool

In 2025, the green roof project at the Pere Calafell Municipal  Preschool was carried out. Eixverd handled both the design and construction, which included two distinct roofs: one on the first floor, measuring 280 m², and another on the second floor, measuring 450 m².

The first-floor roof has a substrate thickness of 15–18 cm. This area was planted with shade-tolerant species and climbing plants, providing greenery and visual interaction with the building opposite.

The second-floor roof is an extensive type, with a substrate thickness of 10 cm. It features a varied planting layout in the shape of arches, a small pond, and several biodiversity points located on the concrete blocks where the safety line is anchored.
