Interior space of ESCI-UPF

L’Escola Superior de Comerç Internacional entrusted us with the interior landscaping of the building, due to the lack of green inside and with the initial idea of using the plants that purify the environment, since it is highly charged, due to the amount of electronic devices, among other causes.

In the building there are 5 floors and the entrance hall. The landings of each floor, the main entrance and the windows that have wooden window sills inside, were considered to be landscaped with large planters and large plants.

On the 4th and 5th floors we designed a large wooden structure with a built-in bench. Inside this structure there are 8 hydro-planters, although they are not seen because they are camouflaged with the volcanic gravel that is incorporated for this purpose.

Areca lutescens and different varieties of Aglaonema are planted there. On the other floors there are two large hydro-planters with the same species. In the windows of the landings of all the floors, there are hydroplanters with Ficus benjamina and on the windowsills of the interior patio of the 5 floors there are small pots with cacti and crassulaceae. In the main entrance hall there are vase-shaped hydro-planters with Aglaonemas and Monsteras.
